According to media news report, the Mumbai metropolis received heavy rainfall today following the onset of southwest monsoon, leading to slight delay in the running of suburban trains.
Reportedly the India Meteorological Department today declared the onset of the monsoon over Mumbai, adjoining other areas of Maharashtra, said media news report.
